Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a monitor technician to provide continuous ECG monitoring and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.

You will maintain inventories, supplies, hardware and telemetry transmitters, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions promptly to keep systems in working condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• No experience required; 1 year as a monitor technician preferred.
• PHC telemetry monitoring competency assessment within 30 days is required.
• CCMTT or CRAT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous ECG monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.
• Maintain inventories, supplies, hardware, and telemetry transmitters in working condition; report malfunctions promptly.

Possesses troubleshooting skills to recognize monitoring problems, identifies probable causes, and seeks solutions to correct the problem. Responsible for maintaining inventories, supplies, hardware and telemetry transmitters in working condition and responsible for appropriately reporting malfunctions promptly as applicable.

• Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International Preferred
