Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ seeks a Night Shift Central Telemetry Monitoring Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will observe monitors, record data accurately, and report cardiac rhythm changes promptly, while performing occasional Unit Secretary duties for the unit.

The role requires Telemetry Training with a passing certificate and, if recently certified, hospital-based testing at hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of Telemetry Training and a passed test (certificate of completion required).
• If certified in the past six months, must pass hospital-based testing upon hire.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.

The Monitor Tech is responsible for accurate record-keeping, observation of monitors, and prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm changes. The Monitor Tech must possess effective communication skills. This position will routinely perform Unit Secretary duties for the unit as assigned.
