Job Summary

The Monitor Technician is a member of the patient care service team with primary responsibilities for monitoring patients' heart rate and rhythms following the completion of the formalized orientation program and arrhythmia course.

Requirements

• Preferred High School Diploma; EKG class preferred.
• Less than 2 years of experience as a Monitor Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Unit Secretary. Must successfully complete an arrhythmia test.
• EKG Certification.
