Medical Center SE Texas Port Arthur seeks a Monitor Technician to support cardiac monitoring on the unit under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and a Registered Nurse. You will initiate, supervise, and discontinue electrocardiographic monitoring as needed to maintain patient safety and accurate rhythm assessment.

The role emphasizes prompt observation, data accuracy, and adherence to unit protocols while supporting a high standard of patient care.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of electrocardiographic monitoring program or equivalent experience and training.

Responsabilidades

• Initiate, supervise, and discontinue electrocardiographic monitoring on the unit.
• Monitor and ensure accurate ECG readings under RN supervision.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Monitor Technician is responsible for the initiation, surveillance, and discontinuation of electrocardiographic monitoring on the unit.
