Job summary

Krise Transportation in Pittsburgh is seeking a Monitor to support our school bus and van operations. You will monitor student behavior, assist drivers, and help ensure the safety of children as they board, ride and depart. This role is vital to keeping our buses on time and our students safe.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable with transportation to work on time.
• Background checks for criminal history and child abuse records required.
• Negative TB test and ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student behavior on buses and vans and assist drivers with safety.
• Ensure safe boarding, riding, and departure of students.

Behind some of our school buses and vans, there is a Monitor who is making a difference in the life of a child. Working as a Monitor with Krise Transportation, you will be recognized as an essential link between students and schools. You will assist our drivers by monitoring student behavior and ensuring the safety of children as they board, ride and depart from the school bus or van.

How Do I Start? What is Required?

• You must have reliable transportation to arrive at work timely each day
• You must have a satisfactory criminal history and pass child abuse history checks
• You must take and have a negative tuberculosis test and participate in and pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing programs throughout employment.
