The ideal candidate has experience with youth and a passion for mentorship, ready to create a supportive and energetic camp environment. This role emphasizes safety, activity planning, and fostering growth and learning.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a camp counselor or in a similar position.
• Experience with at risk youth.
• Highly organized and responsible.
• Excellent communication skills.
• First-aid and CPR-certified.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including running and carrying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate games, sports, and other indoor and outdoor activities
• Create daily and weekly schedules catered to each group of campers, their ages, and interests
• Monitor campers and escort them to various activities
• Provide fun learning opportunities
• Set up, take down, and maintain facility equipment
• Communicate with parents
