NeoGenomics Laboratories in Ramsey, NJ is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for the Molecular department. The role is onsite, Tue-Sat, 12:00pm-8:30pm, with responsibilities spanning complex testing, specimen handling, and result reporting. Bachelor’s degree required with preferred molecular high complexity experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Some applied experience with Molecular high complexity testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory tests under supervision and exercises independent judgment in the specialty assigned.
• Follows procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, and accurate record-keeping on-site.
• Maintains records to ensure proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Reviews and reports test results, communicating STATS or critical results to physicians per SOP.
• Performs quality control on reagents, equipment and assays and documents corrective actions.
