Lighthouse Labs Services in Long Island City, NY seeks an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a high‑complexity infectious disease lab. You will ensure testing accuracy, timely reporting, and regulatory compliance (CLIA/CLEP and NYS) while guiding technical staff.

You will lead molecular testing workflows, validate new assays, mentor personnel, and coordinate with the Chief Medical Officer and Laboratory Director to optimize processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of clinical laboratory supervisory experience.
• Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist in NY state or eligible.
• Knowledge of CLIA requirements.
• ASCP certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with Qiagen, Illumina, and automation platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily lab operations, staffing, and patient result reporting.
• Ensure testing meets turnaround times and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot assays, and oversee training.
• Maintain instrument operation and LIS systems; ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize workflow and patient care.
