JOB SUMMARY

The Molecular Genetic Technologist II conducts high-complexity molecular tests in the diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform clinical testing following CAP, NY, and CLIA regulations.
  • Troubleshoot assay performance andmaintainlaboratory equipment.
  • Conduct quality control (QC) checks and report deviations promptly.
  • Manage laboratory stock levels and replenish supplies.
  • Assistin training new employees asrequired.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline or medical technology.
  • 2-4 years of relevantexperienceOR
  • Master’s degree with 0-2 years relevant experience
Preferred
  • MB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP)
