Yoh Life Sciences seeks a Research Associate I/II to advance early-stage drug discovery through molecular biology assays, RT-qPCR, and mammalian cell culture. The role emphasizes independent execution of established protocols, accurate data, and reproducible results in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on RNA extraction, RT-qPCR experience, and proficiency in cell culture with strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years hands-on lab experience in biology/biotech
• Proficient in RNA extraction and RT-qPCR with controls
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques
• Strong pipetting skills including multi-channel systems
• Experience with Western blot and ELISA assays a plus
• Ability to follow SOPs and document experiments accurately
• Independent, detail-oriented work with minimal supervision

Responsabilités

• Independently perform RNA extraction and RT-qPCR plate setup
• Carry out protein assays (Western blot, ELISA) and sample prep
• Maintain mammalian cell cultures with aseptic technique
• Support ex vivo tissue studies and primary cell isolation
• Perform precise pipetting, dilutions, and plate workflows
• Adhere to SOPs and document deviations across projects
