Job summary

Medtronic CST (Cranial & Spinal Technologies) seeks skilled machinists to design, fabricate, and assemble precision tools and parts. You will read blueprints, operate CAD/CAM systems, and supervise quality using statistical methods.

Position emphasizes on-site collaboration four days a week, with room for professional growth in a leading medical technology company. A minimum of four years of related experience is expected, plus vocational/technical certification.

Responsibilities

• Designs and fabricates tools and parts in wood, metal, and plastic through machining and heat-treating operations.

• May enter data from blueprints or databases into CAD/CAM system, generate numerical control program, and transmit program to machining center.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience
• May require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.

Nice to Have

• Operating manual lathes & milling machines
• Programming cutting tool paths with MasterCAM and/or ESPRIT software.
• 3-5 axis CNC milling.
• CNC Swiss turn style machining.
• Small, tight-tolerance stainless steel machined parts.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R.

Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$60,800.00 - $91,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertain solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
