Job summary

Nordson Medical is seeking a manufacturing associate to produce medical components in a clean room environment under general supervision, following specifications and written procedures. This role may include machine operation, manual production using hand tools, visual inspection, measurements, and packaging of finished product.

Registering in a controlled environment, you will need dexterity and accuracy for handling small components.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent experience.
  • No experience required.
  • Dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Ability to read and understand written specifications and procedures.
  • Working experience in a FDA or ISO regulated environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work under direct supervision and take instruction from Supervisor and Leads, collaborating within a team.
  • Read, understand, and follow written procedures without deviations after training.
  • Operate in a controlled environment and conform to the quality management system.
  • Use basic balloon machines, cutters, scissors, air tools, and measurement tools.
  • Enter data from manufacturing processes into computer software.
  • Adhere to Cleanroom requirements, Good Documentation Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Job Summary

Position consists of manufacturing of medical components in a clean room environment while under general supervision in accordance with specifications and written procedures. This position may include machine operation, manual production using hand tools, visual inspection, physical measurements, and packaging of finished product. This position requires the ability to work with small and delicate components using a high degree of dexterity and accuracy. This position requires direct contact with medical grade components.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work under direct supervision and take work instruction from Supervisor and Leads, work cooperatively and productively within a team environment.
  • Read, understand, and follow written procedures without deviating from the outlined process after training has been completed.
  • Work under conditions of a controlled environment and operate within our quality management system.
  • Operate basic balloon machines, cutters, scissors, air tools, and measurement tools (ex. Rulers, Calipers, Pin Gauges).
  • Enter data from manufacturing processes into computer software.
  • Operate with an understanding of Cleanroom Environment requirements, Good Documentation Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent experience.
  • No experience required.
Skills and Abilities
  • Dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Ability to read and understand written specifications and procedures.
  • Working experience in a FDA or ISO regulated environment is a plus.
  • Ability to sit frequently, stand, walk and bend.
  • Ability to lift items up to 35-50 lbs as applicable.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and adhere to Nordson’s Safety Policy.
