Express Employment is recruiting for a Baldwin, WI plastic injection molding company in search of a Molding Technician. This role sets up and runs injection molding machines, makes process adjustments, and ensures quality parts. Day and night shifts available with competitive pay. Must lift 50 lbs and have strong communication and problem-solving skills. On-site with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and make decisions based on analysis.
• Able to lift 50 lbs; team-lift if over 50 lbs.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Molding Work Instructions (MWI) including prints, specs, and shop orders.
• Install and remove molds in the injection molding machine.
• Set up and process jobs to Master Cycle.
• Adjust auxiliary equipment and robots for proper assembly and packaging.
• Adjust machinery (heat, injection pressure, cycle times) for various materials to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot molding problems and ensure part quality.
• Enter data in DelmiaWorks ERP (IQMS).
• Maintain clean work area per housekeeping standards.

Schedule:

Day Shift:

• 6AM-4:30PM (Monday-Thursday)

Night Shifts:

• 6PM-4:30AM (Monday-Thursday)
• 8PM-6:30AM (Monday-Thursday)

Pay: $24.00-$32.00/hour, depending on experience

Location: Baldwin, WI

General Summary: Express Employment is recruiting for a Baldwin, WI company in search of a Molding Technician. This company is a plastic injection molding company with contract assembly capabilities dedicated to providing our customers withhigh-value manufacturing services. They specialize in high-volume injection molding with their full complement of equipment, ranging in size from 30 tons to 400 tons capacity. From prototypes to production, their number one goal is to exceed your injection molding & assembly requirements.

The Molding Technician performs duties to set up and cycle a variety of plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. They make process adjustments to ensure proper function and quality of parts. They offer a family-friendly culture and do grill-outs to thank employees.

Job Duties:

• Follow all Molding Work Instructions (MWI) Including; prints, specifications, and shop orders
• Installation and removal of molds in the injection molding machine
• Setup and Process jobs to Master Cycle
• Set up and adjust auxiliary equipment, and robots to achieve proper assembly, product containment, and product packaging
• Make machine adjustments, including heat, injection pressure, and cycle times for wide range of plastic engineering materials to ensure proper quality and function of parts
• Troubleshoot molding problems
• Responsible for part quality associated to their set up and processing parameter
• Ability to perform Function Checks and enter in Delmiaworks (IQMS) ERP System
• Keep Work Area Clean per Company Housekeeping Standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to interpret and analyze data in decision making
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. Anything above 50lbs requires a team-lift.
• Ability to operate forklift
• Desired 2 - 5 years Injection Molding Experience
