Job summary

Ultradent Products Inc. is seeking a molding process technician to adjust and monitor injection molding equipment from 10PM-6:30AM in South Jordan, UT. You will diagnose issues, control processes, and maintain quality and documentation before release to production.

The role requires 3+ years in plastic manufacturing, mold/tooling familiarity, and problem-solving skills. Safety and teamwork are essential in this environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in intermediate mathematics.
• Familiarity with mold tooling and components.
• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively.
• Three years minimum experience in a plastic manufacturing facility as a process technician/set up technician.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
• Understanding of molding processing including the nature of plastics.
• Demonstrated problem solving and root/cause analysis skills.
• Systematic Molding I – RJG, Paulson, or other accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine repairs and maintain standard cycle times.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure product quality and equipment performance.
• Prepare production and quality documentation prior to release to production.
• Set press tonnage and mold damage protection; ensure first piece quality.
• Set up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal; start and process molding machines.
• Program and operate injection molding machines; pull and set injection molds.
• Handle materials, molds and tooling with proper care; maintain a positive work environment.
• Work toward continuous improvement and alignment with company goals.
