Job summary

HI-LEX is seeking a Molding Operator I to operate injection molding machines and grinders in Hudson, MI, producing high-quality parts per production requirements. The role includes set-up assistance, troubleshooting, and performing first piece and hourly checks to maintain quality and efficiency.

You will follow safety rules, keep a clean work area, and support training of fellow operators while contributing to on-time production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years minimum molding experience preferred.
• Must use hand tools, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to operate basic robots and robotics equipment.
• Ability to lead other team members and maintain safety.

May also assist in set-up and troubleshooting process problems.
