Job summary

Rieke LLC in Auburn, IN is seeking a Molding Lead for 1st shift to lead mold set-up and processing in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This on-site role requires coordinating a team and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in every cycle.

You will set up molding machines, monitor processes, and troubleshoot issues while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Prior experience in injection molding and tooling is preferred, with a 6am-2pm schedule and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a leadership role.
• 3-5 years of plastic injection mold processing experience.
• Experience with lock out tag out.
• Experience with calipers, indicating micrometers, and reading inspection specs.
• Hands-on experience with high-volume injection molding.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot processes.
• Experience with Injection Molding Tooling and/or maintenance preferred.
• Paulson Training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start up molding machines. Check product with calipers, optical comparators, and other testing methods and devices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot processing problems, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and document process changes.
• Understand the importance of reducing material scrap to protect our environment and reduce costs.
• Provide feedback on mold design and assist Tool and Die Makers to dial in each mold for optimal cycle time and quality

Main Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Plastic Injection Mold Setter/Processor with proven experience in safely completing mold set-ups and processing to produce quality products. This person will work in a high volume, fast paced environment. while also leading a team.

This position is for 1st Shift 6am-2pm with some weekends.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Troubleshooting ability is required.
• Experience in Injection Molding Tooling and/or Maintenance is preferred.
• Previous Paulson Training is a plus.
