Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a motivated operator in its Molding & Finishing department in Kentucky. The role involves operating production equipment and performing multiple duties within the department to support fast-paced production on a leading flooring platform.

Compensation includes a trainee wage rate with step increases on certification, shift premiums for Nights/Afternoons, and a monthly attendance bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

In this position you will have the opportunity to operate various production equipment and perform multiple functions within the Molding & Finishing department for Tarkett Middlefield. Compensation

$22.66 trainee wage rate, with increase to $24.67 after certified on first job, plus shift premium of $1.50 for Nights and $2.00 for Afternoons. There are 4 operator levels that allow for additional pay increases based on cross training. Annual merit increases and more!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to comply with existing safety standards
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete 5s audit
• Ability to load/unload rubber press
• Ability to perform work within Molding/Finishing department based on business needs
• Ability to inspect materials for defects, inconsistencies
• Ability to transport materials to next station in the manufacturing process (using tow motor if required)
• Ability to complete production tickets, downtime sheets
• Ability to maintain/continue green initiative
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent distractions

LOOOKING FOR EXCITED CANDIDATES WHO:

• Stand, walk for long hours during shift.
• Push objects up to 50lbs during a shift
• Adhere to strict safety and quality production standards
• Reach, bend, lift, and push objects weighing 3-50 lbs. on a continuous basis for the duration of the shift.
• Carry/transport material
• Support production with meeting weekly quotas
• Has great work ethics
• Comfortable working in extreme temperatures
