Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Molder for the Delavan, WI team on 2nd shift. You will operate plastic injection molding presses, perform secondary processes, and conduct quality checks to ensure component conformity.

The role includes maintaining KanBan systems and contributing to productivity and quality audits. The position offers compensation of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour plus an 8% shift differential, with the potential for pay increases after attaining proficiency and completing training.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools.
• Experience using sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders.
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting up to 50 lbs; steel-toed shoes required on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding presses to produce quality components.
• Perform secondary operations including removing inserts, trimming, deburring, machining, and small assembly.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and report non-conformances to the proper personnel.
• Maintain KanBan card system and determine KanBan quantities.
• Produce productivity and quality audit reports.

We have an opportunity for a Molder to join our Delavan, WI team. You will perform necessary operations on a variety of plastic injection molding presses to produce quality components at a predetermined standard.

You will:

• Perform necessary operations to mold components including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part.
• Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, machining, and minor assembly and packaging.
• Perform in-process quality checks and communicate non-conformances to proper personnel.
• Maintain card system and determination of KanBan quantities.
• Productivity reporting and Quality audit reporting.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools
• Experience using sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders
• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the production floor.

Shift/Hours:

• 2nd shift 1:45pm – 10:00pm Monday – Friday
• Overtime as needed either after shift or on Saturdays

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.00 - $20.00/hr. (plus an 8% shift differential) Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
