Job summary

BD is seeking operators to produce Posiflush syringes in a high-demand manufacturing environment. You will work as part of a team to meet line goals, ensure quality, perform routine checks, and maintain clean, compliant work areas.

Reading and writing English, attention to documentation, and teamwork are essential as you support manufacturing processes and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; two years manufacturing experience acceptable in lieu.
  • Ability to read/write and converse in English; strong documentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and teamwork in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

  • Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance.
  • Transport material between Posiflush molding areas and storage.
  • Maintain steady flow by clearing material from auxiliary molding equipment.
  • Stock line with raw materials to assemble product.
  • Support line with molded components to prevent downtime.
  • Keep work area, machinery and floors clean to meet GMP.
  • Perform daily/weekly cleaning and quality checks; record data.
  • Communicate changeover times with mold technicians and line operators.
  • Team up to develop optimal task methods.

Job Group/Grade: JG1, H06

Position Summary: Produce quality Posiflush syringes at the rate or goal set for each line while working as a team with other operators. Keep area and machines clean. Complete quality checks at the frequency required. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance
  • Transport material between Posiflush’s two molding areas as well as the storage area
  • Keep material cleared from auxiliary molding equipment to maintain steady flow of product
  • Stock line with raw materials necessary to assemble product
  • Supplement line with molded components as needed to prevent downtime
  • Keep machinery, work area, and floors neat and orderly to comply with GMP requirements
  • Perform daily and weekly cleanings of specific area
  • Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required
  • Communicate with mold technicians and line operators on changeover times
  • Work as a team member to develop optimal task methods
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education:

  • High School diploma/GED preferred
  • In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required
