Job summary

Legend Brands is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician I/II for the swing shift (Mon-Thu 3:30 pm–2:00 am) with a $2.00/hr shift differential. The role maintains and repairs molds and tooling used in producing injection molded and rotomolded plastic parts, and troubleshoots issues to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications include 3 years as a Mold tech or resin processing experience, CAD familiarity, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' mold tech experience or 3 years' resin processing experience preferred.
• 3D CAD modeling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with machinist tools required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair molds and tooling used in injection molded and rotomolded parts.
• Troubleshoot mold-related issues and perform repairs quickly.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime.

JOB DESCRIPTION Employer Description: Legend Brands is a growing multi-vertical manufacturer serving restoration, cleaning, and construction professionals; performance automotive cooling markets; fish hatchery and aquaculture operations; through a portfolio of industry-leading brands including Dri-Eaz, Mediclean, UnSmoke, OdorX, Sapphire Scientific, Prochem, Chemspec, Flex-A-Lite, and Marisource.Legend Brands is hiring a Mold Maintenance Technician I/II on our swing shift, Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, with a potential for overtime based on business needs. There is a $2.00/hr. shift differential for all hours worked on the swing shift.This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing molds and tooling used in the production of injection molded and rotomolded plastic parts and ensuring that the molds are properly maintained to ensure they produce high quality parts. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting any problems that arise with the molds and will work with other members of the production team to ensure that the molds are repaired as quickly as possible.

Good understanding and working knowledge of conventional machines and machining operationsMechanical aptitudeTool selection and proper use of toolsAbility to follow written instructions, read manuals, interpret engineering drawings Exceptional attention to detail, methodical, and maintains clean and well-organized workspaceExcellent trouble shooting skills

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mold tech and/or 3 years' experience processing engineering resins preferred or the ability and skills to learnMolding and/or stamping knowledge preferred3D CAD Modeling experience preferredBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel - Ability to use computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basisAbility to obtain forklift certification within 30 daysHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredFamiliarity with machinist tools required

Hiring Range:

Between $20.00 - $25.25/hour + 2.00/hr. Shift differential
