Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Indianapolis, IN seeks a hands-on Process Engineering Technician to stabilize injection/blow molding processes. You will own mold and cell setups, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with operators and maintenance to keep production moving.

You will configure automation systems, temperature control units, mold controllers, loaders, and dryers while monitoring utilities that influence stability and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools, a multimeter, a tensiometer, and precision metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting ability, clear communication, and a team-first mindset.
• Experience with injection molding and/or molding equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own mold and cell setups for injection/blow molding processes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate across operations to lock in robust parameters and smooth handoffs.
• Configure automation handling systems, temperature control units, mold controllers, material loaders, and resin dryers.
• Monitor plant utilities (air compressors, chillers) affecting molding stability.
• Respond to unplanned downtime and communicate status to operators and leaders.
• Partner with operators, technicians, supervisors, and maintenance for robust processes.
