Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Mold Room Maintenance & Preparation Specialist to own mold cleaning, organization, and readiness for production. You will support Set-up Techs, Maintenance, and Production to minimize downtime and ensure molds are always ready for runs.

The 12-hour daytime schedule (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) on a 2-2-3 rotation emphasizes safety, 5S practices, and accurate storage, labeling, and inventory of molds and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Plastic extrusion experience.
• Tool/die/mold repair skills.
• Injection molding experience.

• Tool/die/mold setup experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean molds after runs and prior to storage using approved procedures.
• Eliminate resin, debris, and contaminants with the correct tools and methods.
• Organize and label mold storage; keep location and inventory records accurate and current.
• Move molds to/from production using proper handling equipment.
• Visually inspect molds; report damage or concerns to supervisors/maintenance immediately.
• Stage molds and related equipment to support efficient changeovers.
• Maintain a 5S-compliant, clean, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and proper material handling.
• Assist setup and maintenance teams with basic support tasks.
• Maintain cleaning tools, supplies, and equipment for mold maintenance.

Schedule

• 12-hour daytime schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• C Shift, 2-2-3 rotation
• Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
