Job summary

Green Home Solutions seeks a Mold Remediation Technician to inspect homes and businesses, discuss remediation options with clients, and perform cleanup with professional care. You will transport equipment, operate cleaning tools, and assist in placing air movers and dehumidifiers to remove moisture from affected spaces.

A strong customer-service mindset is essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload supplies and equipment into/out of vehicles and store properly.
• Drive a company van to project sites.
• Place air movers and dehumidifiers to dry carpets, upholstery and air.
• Perform basic demolition tasks (cut drywall, remove baseboards, flooring).
• Provide exceptional customer service and address concerns with the job leader.
• Follow safety practices and wear PPE (gloves, respirators, Tyvek suit).
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site.

The Mold Remediation Technician will meet with interested clients to inspect their homes/business spaces, discuss the results, and inform them of remediation options.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles, cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas.
• Drives and operates a company van equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work site.
• Assists in placing air movers and dehumidifiers in proper room locations to remove moisture from carpet, upholstery, and air.
• Performs basic demo tasks-cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and various flooring material, sprays fungicide and other materials.
• Provides exceptional customer service, treats property and contents with respect and care and brings any issues or customer concerns to the job leader.
• Follows proper safety practices, wears personal protective equipment as appropriate (gloves, respirators, Tyvek Suit) while working.
• Maintains clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
