Socket.dev is seeking a Mold Remediation Technician to meet with clients, inspect homes or business spaces, discuss remediation options, and guide them through the process.

The role includes loading and unloading equipment, driving a company van to sites, placing air movers and dehumidifiers, and performing basic demolition tasks while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and dependable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry equipment upstairs.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal skills.
• Professional manner and team oriented.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload supplies and equipment; keep materials organized and stored.
• Drive a company van with cleaning equipment to work sites.
• Place air movers and dehumidifiers to remove moisture from spaces.
• Perform basic demolition tasks (cutting drywall, removing baseboards, flooring).
• Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns with the job leader.
• Follow safety practices and wear PPE (gloves, respirators, Tyvek suit).
• Maintain clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site.

The Mold Remediation Technician will meet with interested clients to inspect their homes/business spaces, discuss the results, and inform them of remediation options.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles, cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas.
• Drives and operates a company van equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work site.
• Assists in placing air movers and dehumidifiers in proper room locations to remove moisture from carpet, upholstery, and air.
• Performs basic demo tasks-cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and various flooring material, sprays fungicide and other materials.
• Provides exceptional customer service, treats property and contents with respect and care and brings any issues or customer concerns to the job leader.
• Follows proper safety practices, wears personal protective equipment as appropriate (gloves, respirators, Tyvek Suit) while working.
• Maintains clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site
