SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is seeking an experienced Mold Remediation Crew Chief to lead remediation projects from initial setup through completion. You will supervise technicians, coordinate resources, enforce safety, and communicate with customers to ensure work meets industry standards.

Ideal candidates have mold remediation experience, IICRC AMRT/WRT certifications, and the ability to work in physically demanding environments while wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a remediation/restoration crew
• IICRC certifications valued (AMRT and WRT)
• Knowledge of containment, negative air, HEPA filtration and proper remediation procedures
• Strong communication, organization and leadership skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments with PPE
• Ability to respond to emergency/after-hours projects
• Valid driver’s license
• Background check clearance required

Responsibilities

• Lead mold remediation projects from initial setup to completion
• Assign responsibilities and provide direction to remediation technicians
• Establish and maintain containment and negative-air environments
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel for each project
• Perform demolition and removal of mold-affected materials as needed
• Set up and monitor air scrubbers, HEPA systems and other equipment
• Perform HEPA vacuuming and detailed cleaning of affected areas
• Ensure adherence to remediation protocols and company procedures
• Enforce PPE use and safety requirements on site
• Monitor crew performance, workmanship, and schedule
• Communicate with customers and answer questions about remediation
• Complete accurate project documentation (photos, notes, records)
• Identify and resolve job-site issues as they arise
• Maintain and protect company vehicles, equipment, and materials
• Keep workspaces organized and clean

A locally owned and operated leader in disaster cleanup, restoration, and remediation is seeking an experienced Mold Remediation Crew Chief to join our fast-paced restoration team. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for directing mold remediation projects from initial setup through completion. The Crew Chief will lead remediation technicians, coordinate project resources, maintain job-site safety and quality standards, communicate with customers, and ensure all work is completed efficiently and professionally.

IICRC certifications and previous mold remediation experience are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold remediation projects from initial setup through completion
• Assign responsibilities and provide clear direction to remediation technicians

• Coordinate the equipment, materials, and personnel needed for each project
• Perform demolition and removal of mold-affected building materials as required
• Set up, monitor, and maintain air scrubbers, HEPA filtration systems, and other remediation equipment
• Perform HEPA vacuuming, detailed cleaning, and treatment of affected areas
• Ensure all work follows established remediation protocols, industry standards, and company procedures
• Enforce proper PPE use and all job-site safety requirements
• Monitor crew performance, workmanship, and project progress to maintain quality and scheduling expectations
• Communicate professionally with customers and answer questions regarding the remediation process
• Complete accurate project documentation, including photographs, notes, and required job records
• Identify and resolve job-site issues as they arise
• Properly maintain and protect company vehicles, equipment, and materials
• Keep company vehicles, equipment, warehouse areas, and workspaces clean and organized

Qualifications

• Previous mold remediation, restoration, or related experience preferred
• Experience leading or supervising a remediation or restoration crew strongly preferred
• IICRC certifications highly valued, particularly AMRT and WRT
• Knowledge of containment, negative air, HEPA filtration, and proper remediation procedures
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments while wearing appropriate PPE
• Ability to respond to emergency and after-hours projects when required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law
