Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is hiring a skilled process technician to assist in plant production, quality assurance, and machine performance. You will handle mold setups, participate in preventive maintenance, and support safety, productivity, and delivery.

The role requires strong problem-solving, ability to read mold prints, experience with molding processes, and clear communication in English. You will work with minimal supervision in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of molding processes and equipment.
• Ability to react quickly and adapt with personnel and assets.
• Troubleshoot process equipment and propose solutions.
• Evaluate design proposals and implementations.
• Maintain thorough process documentation.
• Read mold prints.
• Self-starter who can work with little supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act in manufacturing.
• Fluent in English (read/write).

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant production and quality assurance to maximize machine performance, safety and quality.
• Efficient mold/machine set-ups.
• Optimize the use of automation.
• Assist in mold changeovers and preventative maintenance as required.
• Conduct mold/machine/material testing as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide ongoing technical support to plant operations for safety, productivity, quality and delivery.
• Support Plant Earnings Improvement Program (EIPs).
• Complete start-ups and submit start-up parts to QC for inspection.
• Adjust processes to maintain dimensions to specifications.
