Latham, The Pool Company in Rockingham, NC is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to ensure fiberglass molds are production-ready, repair molds, and assist with building new molds for production needs.

Key tasks include cosmetic and structural repairs, routine upkeep, mold prepping, inspections for cracks or wear, and upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with power tools and pneumatic tools preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Autobody or fiberglass experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform cosmetic and structural repairs on fiberglass molds.
• Perform routine mold upkeep.
• Cleaning, waxing, buffing and prepping fiberglass molds to maintain smooth, defect-free surfaces and ensure proper release during production.
• Maintain mold floor textures and gelcoat surfaces to preserve finish quality and prevent imperfections in produced pool shells.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify cracks, delamination, wear, warping, or structural degradation.
• Maintain a safe work environment through consistent PPE use and adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

• Perform cosmetic and structural repairs on fiberglass molds, progressing from small surface repair to large refurbishments.
• Perform routine mold upkeep.
• Cleaning, waxing, buffing and prepping fiberglass molds to maintain smooth, defect-free surfaces and ensure proper release during production.
• Maintain mold floor textures and gelcoat surfaces to preserve finish quality and prevent imperfections in produced pool shells.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify cracks, delamination, wear, warping, or structural degradation.
• Maintain a safe work environment through consistent PPE use and adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
