Job summary

Integrated Dermatology of North Raleigh is seeking a part-time laboratory support staff member. The role involves maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, keeping a clean and disinfected work area, and assisting with specimen preparation on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Candidates with Mohs or Medical Assistant experience are preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is nice to have, and HT(ASCP) certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to work independently and with other team members

• Maintain, calibrate laboratory equipment and keep a clean, disinfected work area
• Prepare tissue samples by fixing, staining, dying and other methods
• Maintain inventory of supplies, material and equipment
