Potomac Dermatology & Skincare Center is seeking an exceptional fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with an entrepreneurial spirit to grow a reputation in skin cancer surgery and cosmetic dermatology. The role offers clinical autonomy, an on-site Mohs lab, and a collaborative team across locations.

Formación

• MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency.
• Fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery through an ACGME-accredited fellowship and/or ACMS-approved fellowship.

Responsabilidades

• Develop the surgical experience from clinical workflow and reconstruction to patient experience in care.
• Lead the in-house Mohs service with on-site lab and dedicated team.
• Collaborate with Dr. Lily Talakoub and referring providers to grow the Mohs and cosmetic dermatology practice.

Founded by Dr. Lily Talakoub, our practice is part of McLean Dermatology & Skincare Center, a physician-owned group serving the Washington, DC area for more than 15 years. Our expertise spans adult and pediatric dermatology, skin cancer surgery, and cosmetic dermatology, with a shared belief that exceptional care combines science, artistry, and personal connection.

As we launch our in-house Mohs service, you’ll have a meaningful role in developing the surgical experience from clinical workflow and reconstruction to the way patients feel throughout their care.

You’ll have an on-site Mohs lab, a dedicated surgical team, and a referral network across our locations to support the service’s growth. We welcome your ideas and initiative, with the clinical autonomy and established infrastructure to help you put them into practice.

Your aesthetic judgment will be valued in both reconstruction and elective treatments. The opportunity

• Part-time, open to full time
• Flexible scheduling
• Opportunity to combine Mohs surgery with cosmetic dermatology and, if desired, general dermatology

Your qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency
• Fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery through an ACGME-accredited Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship and/or an ACMS-approved fellowship
• Board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology
• Maryland medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Excellent surgical skills and a thoughtful approach to reconstruction
• A strong interest in cosmetic dermatology and the motivation to build a cosmetic following
• An entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to outstanding patient care
