Job summary

WVU Medicine Dermatology Department in Greensburg, PA seeks a Mohs Micrographic Surgeon to lead a high-precision cancer surgery service, with duties across academic health settings and potential travel to additional sites in WV, MD, and PA. The role includes Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology, with patient care, education, and potential involvement in broader dermatology services as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligibility for Pennsylvania medical license.
• Completion of Dermatology residency and ACGME MSDO fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology; MS and/or MSDO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology.
• Diagnose and surgically manage basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and other cutaneous malignancies.
• Reconstruction of post-surgical defects as needed.
• Contribute to general dermatology as needed and actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
