Job summary

Dynamic Homes, a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., in Detroit Lakes, MN, is seeking a Shingle Crew Member to support roofing installation on modular homes within a manufacturing setting. You will assist with material prep, install shingles, and ensure compliance with construction specs and safety standards.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and comfort working from heights. Monday–Thursday schedule, with potential evenings based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work at heights up to 14 feet.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality focus.
• Reliable in a team setting and capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Install roofing materials in a controlled manufacturing environment.
• Use hand and power tools (shingle knives, nail guns, shears).
• Install vents, flashing, and shingles per specifications.
• Read purchase orders and production docs to identify materials.
• Prepare flashing for shipments and handle safe storage.
• Follow blueprints and safety policies; wear PPE as required.
• Cross-train to support workforce flexibility; assist as needed.
