Job summary

Deploy's Client is seeking an experienced carpenter to join their offsite construction team. You will review drawings, map dimensions, and frame modular units from wood and metal while ensuring precise fit and finish.

You may travel to active sites to support installation, warranty, and project closeout activities. The role requires 2+ years in carpentry/construction, ability to read plans, and proficiency with measurement tools.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of carpentry or construction experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient with measurement tools and layout.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine layout, dimensions, and materials.
  • Build and assemble wood and metal framing for modular units.
  • Install doors, cabinetry, frames, subfloor and flooring, drywall, paneling, ceiling grid/tiles, wall accessories, hardware, and wall protection.
  • Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy, fit, and alignment.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble materials with hand and power tools.
  • Remove and repair/replace defective or damaged sections.
  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve throughput goals.
  • Inspect completed work to verify quality standards.
  • Travel to active construction sites to support installation, repair, warranty, and project completion activities.

Our mission is to reinvent how spaces are designed, fabricated, and delivered—driving efficiency, scale, and sustainability.Compensation is based on your experience and skill set, is negotiable, and will be finalized during the interview.A day in this roleYou’ll start by reviewing drawings and production schedules, mapping out dimensions and materials. On the line, you’ll frame modular components in wood and metal, then transition into precision finish work—doors, cabinetry, flooring, drywall, paneling, ceiling systems, and hardware. Throughout the day you’ll measure, cut, assemble, and verify alignment, repairing any damaged sections as needed to meet rigorous quality standards.
