Job summary

Navigator Development Group Inc. is seeking a Modeling and Simulations Specialist at Fort Bragg, NC. The role requires active SECRET clearance; full-time; candidate should have associate degree and military experience or degree substitution and experience with VBS4.

You will develop simulations, build 3D terrain databases and entity objects, and apply knowledge of Army Mission Command or LVCG systems. Collaboration within a Modeling/Simulations team is essential; strong initiative and schedule

Job Profile: Modeling and Simulations Specialist
Location : Fort Bragg, N.C,
Schedule: Full time
Security Clearance: Must have active SECRET clearance
This position is contingent upon contract award

Minimum Education Requirement

• Associate degree.
• Four years of related military experience may substitute for academic degree.

Special Skills/Qualifications Required

• Two years of experience developing scenarios with Virtual Battle Space (VBS) 4.
• Shall be familiar with building three-dimensional terrain databases and entity objects using a variety of software.

Minimal Background/Experience Required

• Shall have experience with constructive and virtual computer simulations, video editing, and authoring of modeling/simulation scenarios.
• Knowledge of Army Mission Command and/or Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVCG) Systems.
• Knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++, or .NET. Knowledge of military operational concepts.

Additional Desired Qualifications/Experience/Characteristics

• Ability to work with self-initiative after receiving initial task guidance.
• Ability to follow project schedules and meet designated completion dates.
• Comfortable with working as a member of a Modeling/Simulations team able to accept guidance as well as provide sound suggestions after conducting analysis of the project.
