LV8D Solutions supports national security space and intelligence customers delivering next-generation sensing and exploitation capabilities. The Modeling and Simulations Engineer uses modeling, simulation, analysis, testing, and mission experience to help support a government program.

Position Overview

LV8D Solutions is looking for a Modeling and Simulations Engineer who’s ready to help shape the next generation of national space capabilities. In this role, you won’t just support a rapidly growing Intelligence Community customer — you’ll be part of a mission driven team pushing the boundaries of Modeling & Simulation and SETA support for critical IC programs.

Note: An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polyis required to be considered for this role,

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Test Engineering, Physics, or related technical field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Background in engineering analysis, mission operations, or ground system support is a big plus.
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with M&S tools/technologies such as C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, MATLAB, VBA, or STK (desired).
• Drive, initiative, and the ability to excel in a fast paced, mission focused environment.

Security Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
• Active Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph

Work Environment:

• On-site work in a government or contractor facility
• Occasional travel (up to 25%)
