Job summary
LV8D Solutions LLC in Chantilly, VA, is seeking a Modeling and Simulations Engineer to lead system-level analyses, perform performance evaluations, and support the next generation of national space capabilities. You will contribute to modeling, simulation, analysis, testing, and SETA support for critical IC programs.
Applicants must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, strong communication and writing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Test Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering analysis, mission operations, or ground system support.
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
- Excellent writing and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with M&S tools/technologies such as C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, MATLAB, VBA, or STK is desired.
- Drive, initiative, and the ability to excel in a fast paced, mission focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead system-level analysis and performance evaluations informing strategic decisions.
- Tackle complex, high-stakes mission challenges across design, integration, and operational readiness.
- Identify and assess emerging technologies that can elevate future mission capabilities.
- Support enterprise-wide verification and validation to ensure systems perform when it counts.
- Review system discrepancies and drive meaningful resolutions that improve mission assurance.
- Capture lessons learned and best practices that strengthen the broader mission enterprise.
- Support occasional non standard hours to meet critical timelines.
- Travel as needed to stay engaged with mission partners and stakeholders.

LV8D Solutions is looking for a Modeling and Simulations Engineer who's ready to help shape the next generation of national space capabilities. In this role, you won't just support a rapidly growing Intelligence Community customer — you'll be part of a mission driven team pushing the boundaries of Modeling & Simulation and SETA support for critical IC programs.
Note: An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polyis required to be considered for this role,

- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
- Active Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph
- On-site work in a government or contractor facility
- Occasional travel (up to 25%)
