Job summary

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, construct, modify, and repair hydraulic models and instrumentation.
• Assist with model layout by grading the model site and installing hydraulic components.
• Operate woodworking and metalworking tools and saws including table saws and band saws.
• Identify construction materials (wood, acrylic, PVC, steel, aluminum, concrete, foams, plastics) and assemble components.
• Use construction equipment such as forklifts, manlifts, hoists, and skid-steers in confined spaces.
• Maintain shop and laboratory equipment and support field construction and maintenance activities.
