Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Birmingham, AL is seeking a production operator to run the dough line and ensure correct weight and size of dough pieces. You will monitor equipment and ensure proper flow into overhead systems, maintaining product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years production experience.
• No educational prerequisite; however, must have demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.

• Ensures dough pieces are proper size and weight according to standards.
• Ensures proper sheeting, molding and panning per production standards.
• Sets speed on dough-flo per production standards.

Bringing Home the Dough

Operates Model K machine, ensures that dough pieces are correct weight and size and flow into overhead correctly. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures

Salary Range- 20.79-23.10
