AREA15 Las Vegas is seeking a part‑time Model Cocktail Server, Altair, to deliver elevated beverage service in a fast‑paced, high‑energy setting. You will upsell and recommend drinks, present menus, and ensure orders are accurate while maintaining AREA15’s hospitality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in a high‑volume beverage venue, strong communication skills, and familiarity with SNHD requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Experience in a high-volume beverage venue preferred.
• Minimum 3 years hospitality industry experience in a cocktail/server role.
• Ability to multitask and deliver attentive service.
• Previous cocktail server experience required; bottle service or upscale venues preferred.
• Valid work cards (Health, Alcohol Awareness and Non-Gaming).
• Must be able to push and lift to 25 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods and varied shifts including nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated beverage service and upsell based on guest preferences.
• Present menus, take accurate drink/food orders, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain clean, organized stations and assist with setup for events.

The Model Cocktail Server, Altair is responsible for ensuring excellent guest service standards are met while staying in compliance with and enforcing all applicable SNHD requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment and can demonstrate strong communication skills, beverage knowledge, and a passion for elevated hospitality. The Model Cocktail Server should have an extensive knowledge of upselling techniques, spirits, wine, champagne, beer, mixed cocktails, and personalized guest service. Servers are responsible for creating a polished, engaging, and memorable experience for every guest while upholding the highest standards of AREA15 and Altair at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Demonstrate strong upselling and suggestive selling techniques while making thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Provide attentive, elevated beverage service to guests throughout the lounge
• Present menus, make knowledgeable recommendations, and take accurate drink/food orders
• Deliver orders promptly, ensuring presentation and quality meet Altair’s standards
• Process payments accurately and manage guest tabs with attention to detail
• Coordinate with bussers, bartenders, and hosts to ensure seamless table service
• Deliver personalized, attentive, and polished service that reflects Altair’s elevated hospitality standards.
• Possess strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, mixed cocktails, and beverage offerings, with the ability to confidently describe and recommend selections to guests.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively provide attentive service throughout the guest experience.
• Maintain a warm, sophisticated, and engaging presence while interacting with guests.
• Set up assigned sections and the venue for full operation, ensuring all supplies, products, tools, and service items are fully prepared.
• Mix and serve beverages to guests while adhering to department policies, procedures, and Altair’s service standards.
• Participate and appear in marketing, publicity, or media materials modelling apparel and promoting venue.
• Participate and dress up in costumes for events, movie showings, and/or themed parties.
• Must possesses strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and mixed cocktails.
• Set up assigned section and venue for full operation, ensure all supplies, product, and tools are fully ready for operations.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to maintain Altair’s elevated presentation standards
• Deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly from kitchen/bar to guest tables
• Communicate proactively with kitchen, bar, and floor staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Communicate food orders or changes to chef and staff throughout shift.
• Mixing and serving beverages to guests adhering to the department policies and procedures.
• Must handle credit card transactions at the point of sales system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with SNHD standards.
• Provide an accurate inventory count of product prior and at the end of every shift.
• Follow instructions and work within a team environment.
• Always communicate effectively with all levels of employees and visitors.
• Ability to work as a team, stay organized, handle various projects at one time, follow up and make the best judgement call possible when needed. Contact a manager on duty for help.
• Must be self‑motivated and willing to learn.
• Be a brand advocate by providing Guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus, and pricing
• Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start‑up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry within a high‑ volume beverage venue.

• Previous cocktail server experience required; bottle service, upscale restaurant, lounge, hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid work cards (Health, Alcohol Awareness and Non‑Gaming)
• Must be able to push and lift to 25lbs.
• Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly
• Previous cocktail server experience required; bottle service or restaurant preferred.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
• Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.
