Job summary

Radiance Technologies seeks an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer to support NASIC with MBSE modeling, SysML and architecture analyses. You will develop and maintain models, artifacts, and datasets for complex systems, collaborating with engineers, software developers, and government customers in a multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related field, strong MBSE tooling experience (Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, EA), and active security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field
• Strong knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors
• Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
• Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers
• Knowledge of SysML 2.0
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts
• Active secret security clearance Required Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Desired Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Engineering or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others)
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practice

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE activities and develop authoritative engineering models and architectures
• Analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems and improve products
• Collaborate with internal staff, external contractors, and government customers to deliver integrated datasets
• Produce technical documentation and artifacts for review and approval
