Job summary

HII's Mission Technologies division, through Warfare Systems, seeks a systems engineer to model complex systems, manage requirements, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. The role is based at Wright Patterson AFB, within commutable distance of nearby Dayton suburbs.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s in engineering and knowledge of SysML/UML, MATLAB, and Linux, with 2 years of related experience or 6 years with a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Software Engineering
• Knowledge or interest in SysML and UML, MATLAB, Any Programming Language, Linux
• Understanding of Systems Engineering Principles
• Experience with Cameo System Modeler or other comparable tools
• Experience with any Requirements Management tools (JAMA, DOORS, etc..)
• Must be able to work independently and have effective writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Clearance: Secret clearance to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks.

Essential Job Responsibilities
