Job summary

USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE seeks a Systems Engineer to support mission-critical IT services via model-based systems engineering. The role requires 2–3+ years MBSE experience and proficiency with Cameo, UML, and SysML, along with acceptable IT service certifications.

A BA/BS in engineering is required, with a preference for systems engineering background. Security clearance TS/SCI is highly desirable and the position is full-time, on-site at Offutt AFB.

Position Overview

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies.

SCITLS will be a key component that will help ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

QualificationsEducation

• BA/BS in engineering.
• Systems engineering preferred.

Experience

• 2–3+ years minimum of model-based systems engineering experience.

Certifications

• ITIL 4 Foundation.
• FITSP-D, GDSA, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, or GSEC.
