Job summary

KBR is seeking a Model Based System Engineer to lead MBSE modeling for an Intelligence Community Space program. You will serve as the lead developer for descriptive MBSE models supporting SoS architectures and collaborate across stakeholders to integrate enterprise modeling workspace.

The role requires TS/SCI with poly, 10+ years in STEM, and deep MBSE expertise with SysML/UAFP and DoD/IC experience. On-site in Chantilly, VA with minimal travel; compensation up to $235k, commensurate with

Basic Compensation

$157,000 - $235,000 USD annually

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Required Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret SCI with Polygraph
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience
• Systems Engineering experience with MBSE applications and technology
• Background in, and an understanding of development of enterprise level requirements, architectures, CONOPS and other systems engineering artifacts for the IC/DoD
• Exemplary knowledge of the System Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework Profile (UAFP)
• OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional certification level 2 or higher; or demonstrated commensurate level of knowledge
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage senior stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with executable MBSE models
• Skilled in object-oriented code development
• Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) experience
