Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer in Wisconsin to develop and validate embedded software for automotive applications. You will build control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink and generate production-grade code from models.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with TargetLink, Embedded Coder, and Battery Management Systems (BMS), plus familiarity with MIL/SIL/HIL testing. This long-term opportunity offers collaboration across engineering teams and evolving EV programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
Experience in automotive embedded software development.
Strong knowledge of Model-Based Design and embedded systems.
Experience in automotive or EV applications preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
Design model-based applications using TargetLink and Embedded Coder.
Develop and validate Battery Management System (BMS) software.
Generate production-quality embedded C code from Simulink/TargetLink models.
Perform model verification, validation, and debugging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support embedded software development.
