Job summary

Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, Inc. in Peoria, IL is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist Driver. The role involves driving large vehicles, transporting supplies, and supporting donor services through registrations, screenings, phlebotomy and donor care.

This is a full-time position (30+ hours/week) with varied hours including days, evenings and weekends. You will train and work with a dedicated team to support lifesaving blood products for the community.

Qualifications

• Must have REAL ID.
• Possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• DOT Medical Certification/Physical card required or able to obtain.
• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required.

Responsibilities

• Drive large blood center vehicles to transport supplies and team members.
• Set up and tear down collection operations and restock supplies.
• Conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals and phlebotomy as part of Donor Services Phlebotomy.
• Provide donor care during the donation process.

As part of the Donor Services Phlebotomy team, our Collection Specialist Drivers conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy as well as providing donor care during the donation process. The Collection Specialist Driver is responsible for driving large blood center vehicles to transport blood drive supplies and Donor Services team members, the set-up and tear down of the collection operation, and restocking of supplies.

This is a Full Time/30+ position working 30-39 hours per week and requires the ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

• Possess a valid driver's license in the state in which you reside and be insurable by our insurance carrier
• Must have REAL ID
• Hold or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification Physical card
