Driverge Vehicle Innovations in Chico, CA is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Fabricator to join our team. You will modify vehicles to accommodate mobility needs, performing sheet metal fabrication, welding 14-gauge materials, and installing seat and track tiles according to blueprints.

Responsibilities include cutting into sides/floors to create new openings for wheelchair positions and protecting OEM interiors during modifications. We value safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Performs sheet metal fabrications based on provided blueprints.
• Welds 14-gauge materials to ensure structural integrity.
• Installs seat and track tiles with precision.
• Reads and interprets technical blueprints and specs.
• Maintains OEM interior components protection during modifications.
• Follows safety protocols and keeps workspace organized.
• Collaborates with team to meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Weld 14-gauge materials to ensure structural integrity.
• Install seat and track tiles with precision.
• Safely cut into the side and/or floor to create new door openings or frames.
• Ensure protection of OEM interior components during modification process.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
