The Guthrie Clinic is seeking a Mobility Specialist for Rehab Administration on a part-time basis. You will provide patient mobility support, working with Rehabilitation and Nursing to promote safe, independent movement and contribute to an excellent patient experience.
You will base mobility on AM-PAC Mobility Score and JH-HLM goals, collaborating with RN staff to ensure medical stability and safety during activity.

Join the Rehabilitation and Nursing teams as a Mobility Specialist, helping patients achieve their highest level of safe mobility and function. Working under the direction of Rehabilitation, you’ll collaborate closely with nurses and therapists to support daily mobility goals, promote independence, and contribute to an exceptional patient experience.
The Mobility Specialist provides mobility assistance to patients based on their AM-PAC Mobility Score and Johns Hopkins Highest Level of Mobility (JH-HLM) goal score. This role works collaboratively with Rehabilitation and Nursing to ensure patients are medically appropriate for activity and receive safe, consistent mobility support.
Part Time – 32 hours a week

Provides direct care to patients of all ages and interacts with family members when needed.
Frequently exposed to disagreeable sights, sounds, odors, body waste, and similar conditions.
Routine duties requiring judgment regarding priorities and decisions involving defined problems.
Caregivers are expected to actively participate in quality improvement processes, including:
Some exposure to hazards that might cause serious injury and require recovery time.
Tasks involving patient mobility may present risks if proper safe patient handling techniques are not followed.
Daily contact with clients at all levels, including managers and employees.
Frequent contact with visitors, community agency representatives, and other healthcare-related organizations.
Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, other tissues, and communicable diseases.
