Job summary

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) is hiring a full-time Technician in San Antonio, TX. The role supports our mission by delivering mobility solutions, assisting clients with wheelchairs and positioning systems, and coordinating with the Branch Manager and Rehab Technology Specialist to ensure timely order processing, assembly, and delivery.

The technician helps customize power wheelchairs and ensures client safety at home or in care settings.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 pounds (with or without accommodation).
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency certificate.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls and performs quality repairs in diverse environments (branch, field, clinic, schools, care homes).
• Assembles seating, mobility and home accessibility equipment per factory/clinical specs.
• Manages inventory for custom, special orders and stock items in the branch.
• Delivers equipment as directed by Branch operations and Field leaders; provides fitting, instruction, and customer service.
• Provides technical support to Rehab Technology Specialist as needed.

Position Highlights

• Provides inventory control and counts for all custom, special orders and stock items processed in the branch.
• Delivers equipment as directed by Branch operations and Field leaders to include fitting, instruction, compliance, and customer service requirements
• Provide Technical Support to Rehab Technology Specialist as needed and directed by Operational Branch and Field leadership
