Job summary

Trident Care is seeking a Mobile X-Ray Technologist to provide portable X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities. The role requires unloading equipment, taking exams ordered by physicians, and transmitting images to radiologists.

You will also manage paperwork, communicate with dispatch, and maintain radiology equipment. The ideal candidate maintains ARRT certification and state licensure, holds a valid driver’s license, and works independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Maintain ARRT certification and state license.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Perform X-ray and EKG as required and coordinate with radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-Rays using portable DR/CR radiography equipment and submit to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take to facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician.
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit to Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Scan exam paperwork/billing documents daily per protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
• Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.
• Communicate professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Adhere to proper radiation protection standards.
