Job summary

RapidX is seeking a Mobile X-Ray Technologist to join our team in the Long Island, NY area. The role involves traveling locally to patient locations and performing mobile X-ray imaging with emphasis on patient safety and accuracy.

This full-time position supports independent work outside traditional hospital settings. Ideal candidates will hold an NYS X-Ray Technologist License and ARRT certification, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift portable equipment.

Qualifications

• Active New York State X-Ray Technologist License
• Registered with ARRT
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and transport portable imaging equipment (including stairs when needed)
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile X-ray imaging procedures in various settings
• Travel locally to patient locations (nursing homes, residences, etc.)
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
• Operate and transport portable imaging equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
