Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking a qualified technician to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services in Erie County, United States. The ideal applicant will have a valid ARRT certification in Pennsylvania and at least 1 year of experience in Radiology or EKG. Responsibilities include performing and processing X-Rays and EKGs, maintaining equipment, and effective communication with healthcare facilities. This is essential work for patient care, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology or Mammography.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in EKG or Echocardiogram.
• Valid ARRT certification in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile X-Rays using portable X-Ray equipment.

Job description

Responsible for providing mobile X-Ray and EKG services to various healthcare facilities. Your role involves performing and processing X-Rays and EKGs, communicating effectively with colleagues and clients, and ensuring the maintenance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submitting/transmitting them for interpretation
• Performing EKGs and transmitting them for interpretation
• Scanning exam-related paperwork/billing documents daily
• Communicating with dispatch and management
• Maintaining vehicle and x-ray equipment

Schedule and Shift Details

M-F 6:00pm - 2:30am

Required Qualifications

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:

• Mammography
• Radiology

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:

• Echocardiogram (echo)
• Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) Echocardiography

Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in the state of Pennsylvania (PA)
